The Kingston Lake Missionary Baptist Association (KLMBA) "Notes
From The Doctor" web page is designed to help meet the mission
and goals of the South Carolina Department of Health and
Environmental Control (DHEC). DHEC's misson is to promote and
protect the health of the public and the environment.
We are very fortunate to have Dr. Covia L. Stanley, M.D., M.Div. the
Pastor of Mt. Calvary # 1 Missionary Baptist Church, Conway,
South Carolina who volunteers his time and talents to periodically
provide health and environmental information to KLMBA.
Dr. Covia L. Stanley, M.D., M.Div. serves as Health and Medical
Director of DHEC's Region 6, which includes Horry, Georgetown
and Williamsburg counties. He earned Bachelors and Masters
Degrees from North Carolina Central University, Medical Degree
from University of Buffalo and a Master's Degree in Divinity from
Virginia Union University.
